the composing equipments of a CCTv installation has to correspond to the same television standard

the video camera is chosen according to the size of the space that has to be covered and of the dimensions of the aimed objects (according to these results the tube dimension and the focal distance of the lens)

for very low levels of illumination (under 0.1 lx) special cameras with image amplifiers are available

the camera arrangement has to assure both the efficiency and the safety of operation

in some applications it is necessary to be able to command the angle/viewing position and to modify the focal distance, through some commands transmitted from the control panel
